Gravitrax at CarFest – Where STEM Meets Spectacle
CarFest isn’t just a celebration of music and motors – it’s an immersive, family-friendly festival packed with activities for all ages. Beyond its bustling food and craft zones lies a dynamic kids’ area brimming with entertainment. But this isn’t your typical funfair. CarFest has gone a step further by introducing a dedicated STEM Zone – an inspiring space where kids can learn through play, explore science and technology, and attend interactive sessions in specially curated sponsor tents.
Thanks to my connections in the toy industry, I was invited by Gravitrax to direct and document the incredible experiences families were having in the STEM Zone – with a special focus on the Gravitrax sessions, hosted by renowned science presenter Gregg Foot.
Over two days, I captured the buzz of the classes, the vibrant festival atmosphere, and worked closely with Gregg to develop and script engaging content. The goal: to create a showcase film for Gravitrax HQ, highlighting the brand’s successful presence at the festival, and to craft a sleek, one-minute social story for Gregg’s Instagram – timed for release on the festival’s final day.
The Instagram video was designed not just to inform but to ignite excitement – tailored for shareability across the STEM and toy communities online. Precision, storytelling, and timely delivery were key to ensuring the brand’s message resonated and reached a wider audience.
